Overview of UGC Examination 2018
Scheme of Examination
UGC National Eligibility Test will consist of Two objective type Papers. Test will be held on 08th July 2018. First paper will consist of 100 marks & 50 questions and duration will be 1 hour and 2nd paper will consist 100 questions of 200 marks and 2 hours of duration. Both exams will conduct on same day at separate sessions (9:30 Am – 10:30 Am and 11:00 Am – 01:00 Pm).
‘UGC NET Syllabus 2018’
Paper-I will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. Paper-I will primarily be planned to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. All questions will be compulsory.
Paper-II will cover entire syllabi of earlier Paper II & Paper – III (including all electives, without options). All the questions will be compulsory.
